I am totally convinced that the weather has something to do with people's moods. Last week, everyone was acting really weird and bitchy, and now all of a sudden, everything is back to normal. It's just kinda bizarre. I dunno...Maybe it's just all my imagination. But I am gonna pretend that the weather had something to do with it. Play along, k?
Today I got my bikini and my dress from Victoria's Secret. I ordered the dress for the Saturn Awards this year, but it was on backorder for the past month. Since I wanted to stand out at this year's show, I ordered this really pretty red dress with rhinestone straps. I look a little dumpy in it, but with the right shoes, hair, makeup and a really good pair of Spanx to hold in my gut, I think I can pull it off. Although, I do think my arms need a bit of toning. Maybe I will start doing some push-ups to get them a little less on the old jewish lady side and more on the crazy mom from Terminator side (aka Sarah Conner). Doubt it'll happen like that though. We'll see. Anyway, back to my order. I also got a black bikini with a rhinestone skull and crossbones on the left boob and on the tush. I have wanted this bikini for a couple of years, so I decided to splurge and order it. Yay. I love it. Now I wanna order the Anchors Away bikini. Maybe next paycheck.
Other than that...work seems to be getting better. Not as bad as last week. Glad the weather is cooling down a bit. I never really enjoy getting $400 electric bills...so the cooler weather every now and then is nice. At least it lets me turn my a/c off for a few days. And that about sums it all up. Not too interesting, I know. But hey...I live a pretty boring life. =)
