The Week in Review

Sorry for the lack of posts...but I have been really busy this week and/or too tired to sit and write a blog. I have been doing lots of overtime from home and it's draining me.

Nothing too interesting happened this week, except for the charity event that Danny and I went to on Wednesday night. His company donated a generator to this Golden Age of Hollywood fundraiser thing, so they gave us 2 tickets to attend. It was at the Park Plaza Hotel and was really nice. There was a silent auction, dinner, dancing, a live auction and an awards presentation. We stuck around for most of it, but decided to leave at around 10:00, since we both needed to be up for work the next morning. Here are a couple pics of the night:
Last night we went to visit my aunt in the hospital (yes, she is still there). They moved her to the rehab facility, so she can learn how to walk again. I guess being stuck in bed for over a month can kinda mess up your walking skills. Anyway, we brought her a cake and a balloon for her birthday, which is today. However, since we already have a prior engagement tonight, we decided to spend last night with her. I think she really enjoyed it.
Today I am going shopping for swimsuits with my step-mom and then to lunch. Should be fun. When I get back, I plan on laying by the pool for a bit to get my tan a little evened out and since I am peeling like a lizard now, I need to darken up a bit. And then tonight we're going to Rachel and Jesse's engagement party. Should be a good time.
As for tomorrow, I think we're gonna try and see The Dark Knight, if its not already totally sold out. We'll see. Worst case scenario - we'll see Mamma Mia tomorrow and The Dark Knight next weekend. I'm not too worried about it.
