On October 19, 2008, I am participating in an event called Nuts for Mutts - The Walk. It is a 5K walk around the beautiful hills of Pierce College. Each donation I bring in helps raise funds for homeless pets and supports New Leash On Life's Education, Rehabilitation and Adoption programs, as well as their Lend a Paw program. The Lend a Paw program is designed to rescue dogs from the shelter and train them to be Social/Therapy dogs, visiting schools, hospitals and care centers in order to provide love, healing and acceptance for those in need. I am asking for your support for this worthy cause. Any contribution you can make would be great appreciated.

About the Walk
The walk is 5k, which means I'll be walking 3.1 miles for our canine friends, through the beautiful hills of Pierce College. Each step, and each donation given in my name, brings us closer to helping the thousands of homeless, abused and abandoned animals in Los Angeles as well as assisting the community by providing rescued Therapy dogs for those in need of love and acceptance.
